Megan L. Ciarlante, M. Ed.

Serving as our Lead Associate Guide, Megan brings over sixteen years of education and experience to our House and our children.  A native of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Megan is a an early childhood specialist and Pennsylvania certified teacher (K-6).  Completing her undergraduate studies in Education at Shippensburg University, she headed to County Kildare to serve the children of the Emerald Isle before returning to the States to continue her educational career.  Since Ireland, the Montessori method has been woven through Megan's life and thinking, influencing and informing her both as a professional and as the mother of two wonderful children who she shares and raises with her husband (and high school sweetheart) Mark.  In between working and caring for her family, Megan completed her graduate studies at Cabrini College, and is currently pursuing advanced studies in Montessori theory and practice as our Maria’s House Resident Scholar.
