Sarah J. Meyers, BA

A proud graduate of Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Sarah followed the call of her undergraduate studies in Environmental Studies and Political Science and wound up in "far away places with strange sounding names" (if you don't know the song, you really should, and Bing is here to help) in professional service with the internationally renowned School for Field Studies, guiding and coordinating the academic and cultural experiences of university scholars engaged in highly immersive semesters in complex and diverse environments. From the Center for Marine Resource Studies (South Caicos) to the Center for Climate Justice and Mekong Ecologies (Siem Reap, Cambodia), Sarah's leadership bridged the gap between SFS, their students and the local populations.

A Bucks County native, PADI certified diver and lifelong competitive equestrian, Sarah brings her wide world of practical experience and scientific sensibilities to our cohort each and every day (including a happy familiarity with quite a few of those far away places...)
